About the position

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Assembly and Post-Processing Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing a variety of tasks including running process machinery, assembly, and processing parts with precision and efficiency. This role demands a high level of attention to detail, manual dexterity, and excellent time management skills to adhere to a strict daily schedule. The candidate will flex across stations where demand is high throughout the day, swapping between post-processing and assembly, dye and surfacing parts, and AM powder lab. A minimum part quota is expected to be processed each day as a key metric for this role. Key responsibilities include performing repetitive tasks with a high level of attention to detail, ensuring consistency and quality in every step. For example, sticker logos must be placed on 100+ parts each day, aligned within 0.3 mm. The technician will also be responsible for inspecting each part following post-processing for adherence to quality standards, operating a tumbler machine while following standard operating procedures (SOPs), conducting screw assembly of parts upwards of 200 per day, and handling the dyeing process of parts while following all safety and procedural guidelines. Additionally, the technician will run parts through an oven as part of the post-processing procedure, monitoring time and temperature settings as required. The role requires maintaining strict adherence to a daily planned schedule, managing multiple tiers of tasks down to the 10-minute mark throughout the week to hit a minimum quota of parts per day. The technician will efficiently process hundreds of parts daily while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Ancillary post-processing tasks will include dyeing parts, installing taps and inserts, and sorting parts based on order processing requirements, which will be needed 30% of the time. The technician will also spend 10% of their time processing SLS parts and removing them from the printed powder bed in the powder lab.
