About the position

The Managing Director of Inside Sales at Adecco will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Account Executives to drive sales growth and enhance client acquisition strategies. This position is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales strategy aimed at increasing the conversion of leads into successful client engagements. The Managing Director will coach and mentor the team, ensuring they adopt a proactive sales approach, effectively overcoming objections and providing tailored staffing solutions to meet client needs. The role requires a strong focus on performance management, with the expectation of maintaining significant revenue targets and fostering a high-performance culture within the team. In this leadership role, the Managing Director will oversee a team that is expected to generate over $18 million in combined temporary and direct hire revenue. The individual will be tasked with developing a regional sales strategy that targets opportunities ranging from $10,000 to $2 million in annual revenue, guiding the team through the entire sales cycle. This includes hiring, training, and developing approximately 12 Account Executives, conducting regular performance reviews, and ensuring that all team members meet their key performance indicators (KPIs). The Managing Director will also be responsible for leveraging innovative sales strategies to attract new clients, assisting team members in customer meetings and presentations, and managing internal escalations effectively. Regular reporting on team performance to the Vice President of Marketing and Inside Sales will be a key aspect of this role, ensuring alignment with broader organizational objectives and sales goals. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in staffing sales, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and client expansion.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a team of Account Executives to enhance sales activity and increase client acquisition.
  • Develop and implement a regional sales strategy targeting qualified opportunities.
  • Maintain $18M+ in combined temp and direct hire revenue from the team.
  • Hire, train, and develop a team of approximately 12+ Account Executives.
  • Conduct weekly one-on-ones and semiannual reviews to drive performance accountability.
  • Assist team members with the sales process, customer meetings, and presentations.
  • Conduct effective team meetings and funnel reviews to ensure KPIs are met.
  • Report team performance to the Vice President of Marketing and Inside Sales.
  • Leverage innovative sales strategies to deliver new clients and maximize revenue potential.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 3 years as a people manager, preferably in staffing.
  • Minimum of 7+ years in account sales of staffing delivery models and programs.
  • Proven history of implementing successful strategic sales strategies.
  • Strong analytical expertise in sales processes and metrics, with CRM utilization experience.
  • Demonstrated track record of sales growth and client expansion.
