About the position

The Territory Sales Manager at ADI Ag. Drainage Inc. is responsible for selling the full product line of agricultural drainage and water management solutions to large agricultural farmers across the Midwest. This role requires a strong background in agricultural sales and effective communication skills to build and maintain customer relationships while ensuring customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain a positive working environment.
  • Survey and lay out drainage systems for farm fields prior to installation crew arrival.
  • Visit potential customers to explain the benefits of agricultural sub-surface drainage.
  • Communicate via phone and in person with customers and inside personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Provide inside personnel with complete and detailed order information to ensure timely, accurate deliveries of supplies.
  • Build and maintain a strong customer base.
  • Maintain strong selling margins as set by management.
  • Collect job data and forward it to inside personnel for billing upon job completion.

Requirements

  • Strong sales background, specifically in agricultural applications.
  • Ability to communicate well with customers, farmers, and internal company personnel.
  • Adequate computer skills preferred.
  • Valid Driver's License.
