About the position

The Adjudicator of Personnel Security Adjudication at One Federal Solution is responsible for conducting background adjudications for a government agency. This role involves evaluating investigative reports, applying adjudicative guidelines, and making eligibility determinations for access to sensitive classified information. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in federal adjudications and hold a Top Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate reports of investigations and apply adjudicative guidelines.
• Author written documentation justifying recommendations for eligibility determinations.
• Review investigative documents to identify discrepancies and recommend further actions.
• Consult with government security officials to resolve personnel security issues.
• Prepare adjudicative read-downs against national security criteria.
• Control processing, review, and appeals actions related to security clearances.
• Generate and evaluate written recommendations for clearance eligibility.
• Update security clearance databases to reflect eligibility determinations.
• Coordinate and prepare original personnel security documentation.

Requirements

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in federal adjudications.
• Successful completion of Basic and Advanced Suitability Adjudication Courses.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and eQIP processing.
• Experience with NP2 Suite applications, Lexus Nexus, and ISMS.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
