About the position
Sussex County Community College currently has an opening for adjunct English instructors to teach Effective or Public Speaking classes face-to-face on our Newton campus for Spring 2025. This is a course in public speaking which stresses speech organization, effective delivery and critical listening skills. A strong emphasis is placed on student performance to help the student gain speech practice and develop self-confidence in a variety of speaking situations.
Requirements
- Master's degree in English, Communications, or Rhetoric
- Computer/technological skills
- Two years teaching experience in Effective or Public Speaking (preferred, especially at the collegiate level)
