About the position
Midland University is seeking an exceptional adjunct faculty member to teach the Advanced Experimental Psychology course in an in-person format. The role involves preparing and delivering engaging class activities, developing online materials, providing feedback on assignments, and supporting student inquiries. This course serves as a capstone experience for psychology majors, emphasizing research design, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver in-person class activities for Advanced Experimental Psychology.
- Develop engaging online materials and assessments for students.
- Provide timely feedback on written assignments.
- Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
- Meet with students individually as needed.
Requirements
- A master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
- Experience with collecting and analyzing quantitative data.
- A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, preferably teaching at the college level or training adults.
