About the position

Midland University is seeking an exceptional adjunct faculty member to teach the Advanced Experimental Psychology course in an in-person format. The role involves preparing and delivering engaging class activities, developing online materials, providing feedback on assignments, and supporting student inquiries. This course serves as a capstone experience for psychology majors, emphasizing research design, data analysis, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and deliver in-person class activities for Advanced Experimental Psychology.
  • Develop engaging online materials and assessments for students.
  • Provide timely feedback on written assignments.
  • Respond to student inquiries within 24 hours.
  • Meet with students individually as needed.

Requirements

  • A master's degree in Psychology or a closely related field.
  • Experience with collecting and analyzing quantitative data.
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional work experience, preferably teaching at the college level or training adults.
