About the position
The Adjunct Faculty - Chemistry position at Northern Virginia Community College involves planning and teaching chemistry courses to a diverse student population. Responsibilities
- Teach specific classes in the designated discipline.
- Develop course syllabi and instructional materials.
- Maintain records, assign grades, and assess student progress.
- Adhere to policies, procedures, and regulations of NOVA and the VCCS.
- Maintain current competence in the particular discipline or field of specialization.
Requirements
- Master's degree in the teaching field or a master's degree with at least 18 graduate semester hours of coursework in the teaching field.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
