About the position

This adjunct position involves teaching various aspects of the animation industry, including writing for animation, storyboarding, illustration, animation techniques, and character design. The role requires a strong background in animation software and the ability to convey complex concepts to students effectively.

Responsibilities

• Teach writing for animation, storyboarding, illustration, animation, and character design.
• Develop course materials and lesson plans for animation courses.
• Assess and evaluate student work and provide constructive feedback.
• Stay updated with industry trends and software advancements in animation.

Requirements

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite and other high-end 2D or 3D animation software.
• Strong drawing and draftsmanship skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with Toon Boom Harmony and Procreate.
• Familiarity with other animation and drawing software.
