About the position
This Faculty member teaches lower-division courses in Finance to students pursuing Associates in Arts, Associates in Science, and College credit certificate degrees.
Responsibilities
- Teaches lecture and laboratory sections
- Evaluates and advises students
- Participates in departmental and College affairs
- Develops curricula
- Recruits students
- Serves on committees
- Prepares and submits student information to Department Chairperson
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Master's degree in Finance, Master's degree in Business Administration (MBS) with a specialty in finance; or Master's degree and 18 graduate semester hours in finance or finance related field such as Financial Economics, Financial Engineering or Corporate Finance
- All degrees must be from a regionally accredited institution
- Documented experience with applied teaching and learning methodologies
- Ability to communicate effectively with students with a wide range of skills
- Possess excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to work well with students and colleagues in a multi-ethnic/multi-cultural environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule that may include evening and weekend assignments
