About the position
Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) is seeking an adjunct faculty member for the History program to teach one or more in-person, undergraduate, introductory-level world history courses. The courses will be 2 or 3 credit courses, totaling 6 hours over the course of the year. Additionally, adjuncts may be hired to teach up to 6 hours in Ancient, Medieval, Early Modern European History, or special topics courses in their area of expertise, excluding U.S. History.
Responsibilities
- Serve as an adjunct faculty member for the History program.
- Teach one or more in-person, undergraduate, introductory-level world history courses.
- Teach up to 6 hours in Ancient, Medieval, Early Modern European History, or special topics courses.
Requirements
- MA or PhD in History or related fields.
