About the position

MUSIC - The Department of Music, School of Arts, Media, & Communication, Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi, is seeking applications for part-time adjunct instructors with positions available as determined by need and funding during the Fall and/or Spring Semesters for the 2024-2025 academic year, beginning by September 10, 2024. Classes to be taught may include two- to three-unit lecture classes in Music Theory (Aural Training, Musicianship, Fundamentals, and Form and Analysis). Responsibilities

  • Teach two- to three-unit lecture classes in Music Theory, including Aural Training, Musicianship, Fundamentals, and Form and Analysis.
  • Be available on very short notice for appointments.
  • Prepare and deliver course content effectively.

Requirements

  • A completed master's degree in music from an accredited college or university.
  • Demonstrated competence in assigned course content area(s).
