About the position

The Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) is seeking part-time adjunct faculty for its Entrepreneurship Department. This role involves teaching courses related to entrepreneurship, engaging with students, and maintaining industry connections. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial background and a commitment to quality education, diversity, and inclusion.

Responsibilities

• Teach a 15-week class schedule in entrepreneurship.
• Deliver relevant course material and assess student performance.
• Provide guidance and assistance to students both in and out of the classroom.
• Submit grades on time and maintain industry relationships.
• Participate in professional organizations related to entrepreneurship.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in the field or a closely related field.
• A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in the field.

Nice-to-haves

• MBA or Master's degree in the field or a closely related field.
• Teaching experience at the college level.
