The adjunct faculty pool aims to create a list of qualified applicants interested in teaching up to a maximum load of 9 sections per year, with courses offered in eight-week sessions throughout the academic year. This position allows for remote work from various states, including Alabama, Arizona, Georgia, Idaho, Indiana, Minnesota, Nevada, New Hampshire, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and Wisconsin, with recruitment in California and Massachusetts only if job responsibilities warrant it. All courses are taught online via Blackboard, with synchronous lectures held Monday through Thursday between 3-7 PM PST. Contracts are for 10 weeks, which includes one week for preparation, eight weeks of instruction, and one week for processing final grades.
