About the position
We seek a psychology instructor to expand our department's offerings into any area of psychology, but especially pre-health psychology or any area of organizational/industrial related to leadership studies. Ideally, we seek a psychology scholar who has the ability to teach in more than one sub-field. Moreover, the successful candidate will be expected to teach LS 489: Senior Seminar: Leadership, Ethics, and Current Issues.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate level psychology courses in abnormal, industrial/organizational, or ecological/community psychology.
- Teach general education courses, including the senior seminar and sophomore seminar at Kettering University.
- Expand the department's offerings in psychology, particularly in pre-health psychology and leadership studies.
Requirements
- PhD or ABD in relevant field in psychology.
- Experience teaching undergraduate level psychology.
Nice-to-haves
- Interest in teaching general education courses.
