Responsibilities

• Develop and measure learning outcomes for courses.
• Assess student performance and maintain grade records.
• Create an effective learning environment using a variety of instructional methods.
• Collaborate in the development and assessment of learning outcomes for program reviews and curriculum revisions.
• Work with other faculty to complete scheduled program reviews and revise the curriculum based on findings.
• Participate in professional development activities to maintain currency in discipline knowledge and instructional methods.
• Attend department, division, campus, and college meetings and committees.
• Engage in college projects, surveys, studies, and reports related to the discipline or program.
• Collaborate in the development of program promotional materials.
• Support the college's goals.
• Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in field or related area; Master's degree preferred.
• Culinary experience needed for instructional cooking courses.
• Strong communication skills.
• Post-secondary teaching experience in the discipline to be taught.
• Work experience in the discipline.
• Knowledge of industry-related software and systems, including industry certifications.
