About the position

The Adjunct Instructor for Computer Information Technology - Cyber Security is responsible for providing quality instruction in both classroom and laboratory settings. The role emphasizes teaching, evaluating student performance, and maintaining a positive learning environment. The instructor will also handle administrative duties and support student learning through office hours and other resources.

Responsibilities

  • Planning and teaching classes as assigned and outlined in the course descriptions and syllabi.
  • Supervising the study and learning activities of students assigned.
  • Submitting requests for equipment, supplies, textbooks, and other instructional aids through the appropriate channels.
  • Evaluating the academic progress of students.
  • Demonstrating knowledge of services, regulations, and procedures as defined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook.
  • Submitting course grades and performing other administrative duties as required.
  • Scheduling two office hours and providing a written plan for student access if unable to do so.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a regionally accredited college/university.
  • At least 5 years of full-time practical cyber or cyber-related working experience.
  • Possession of at least one current industry-recognized cyber credential.
