About the position

The University of Cincinnati is seeking qualified professionals for part-time Term-Adjunct Instructor positions in the Department of Chemical and Environmental Engineering. This role involves teaching undergraduate and graduate courses, coordinating with faculty, and providing student support. The position is contingent on departmental needs and teaching performance, with rank and compensation based on experience and academic credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Teach or co-teach courses assigned on a semester-by-semester basis.
  • Coordinate with other faculty members for alignment of coursework with the overall curriculum.
  • Meet with students as needed, through office hours or other specified availability.
  • Submit grades for all students enrolled in courses.

Requirements

  • A Master's Degree in Engineering or a closely related STEM field is required for undergraduate class instruction.
  • For graduate instruction, a degree in Engineering or a closely related STEM field one level advanced beyond the level of the course is required.
  • Meet the University Requirements to be credentialed by experience.
