About the position

Raritan Valley Community College is seeking part-time Adjunct Instructors for the Game Development and Game Art programs. The ideal candidates will be responsible for teaching a variety of courses that include 3D modeling with a focus on game environments and assets, fundamentals of game development, foundations of game engines, and two-dimensional game studio practices. These courses are designed to equip students with both tabletop and digital skills, emphasizing rapid prototyping, systems design, and the implementation of game feel using industry-standard game engines. Instructors will engage students in a structured learning environment that fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills. The curriculum is designed to encourage collaborative design and effective communication among students, preparing them for careers in the gaming industry. Instructors are expected to bring a passion for technology and a commitment to student success, ensuring that all students receive a high-quality educational experience. Requirements

  • Proficiency in industry-standard game engines and software for game development and art creation.
