About the position

Meredith College seeks qualified applicants for non-tenure track adjunct instructor positions in the Interior Design program. Adjunct positions begin January 1, 2024.

Responsibilities

• Teach on-campus undergraduate courses in the following areas within the interior design curriculum: Interior Design Products, Design Presentation Media.
• Active involvement within the college, school, and department and engagement in scholarship and/or professional activity required.

Requirements

• Earned master's degree in Interior Design (MS) or Architecture (M.Arch) required.
• Candidate must have at least one degree in Interior Design (undergraduate or graduate level).
• A record of professional experience appropriate to the assigned area(s) of teaching responsibility required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign required.

Nice-to-haves

• NCIDQ Certification preferred.
• Registered Interior Designer or Architect preferred.
• Previous teaching experience preferred.
• Experience with CIDA accreditation process is preferred.
