About the position
The School of Public and Allied Health is looking to hire an adjunct instructor to work in the Department of Kinesiology & Physical Education. This part-time non-tenure track Adjunct Instructor will teach the undergraduate and graduate level courses.
Responsibilities
- Ability to teach and relate positively to undergraduate and graduate students.
- Responsible for preparing and delivering course materials, conducting practical sessions, and evaluating student performance.
- Contribute to curriculum development and engage actively with students to enhance learning through office hours and support mechanisms.
- Participate in departmental meetings and collaborate with fellow faculty to align with educational goals, often integrating innovative teaching methods and technologies to facilitate a dynamic learning environment.
- Adaptability to meet student needs and institutional expectations.
Requirements
- Masters Kinesiology, Sports Management, Physical Education.
- Three years of higher education experience.
- Strong ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal means.
- Ability to use and implement technology in the course management.
