About the position

The Adjunct Instructor for Mathematics at Stark State College is responsible for delivering high-quality Industrial Math courses, both during the day and evening. Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver Industrial Math courses at Ariel Corporation in Mt. Vernon, OH.
• Assess student performance and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain classroom attendance records and submit early alerts and final grades by required deadlines.
• Utilize learning management systems and learning software as necessary.
• Submit periodic student reports as required by the college.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Mathematics or Statistics, or a Master's degree in any field with 18 graduate credit hours in Mathematics or Statistics.
• Knowledge of and experience with various teaching strategies or programs.
• One year or more of tutoring or teaching experience preferred, especially with diverse student populations.
