Responsibilities

• Teach graphic design courses at various levels, from introductory design principles to advanced design methods and practices.
• Instruct the use of industry-standard software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Develop and deliver engaging curriculum materials that cover topics such as typography, branding, layout, digital media, and interactive design.
• Facilitate learning of principles of art and design.
• Demonstrate a commitment to excellence in teaching and mentorship of students.
• Collaborate with department faculty to enhance curriculum and student learning experiences.
• Provide constructive feedback and guidance to students to foster their growth and development as creative professionals.
• Engage in professional development activities related to professional field.
• Participate in departmental meetings and other activities as needed.

Requirements

• Master's degree preferred in Art, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
• Consideration will be given to candidates with a Bachelor's degree and required/adequate experience or higher in the relevant field.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Experience teaching graphic design courses at the college level preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative academic environment.
