About the position

The Adjunct Instructor for Paralegal Studies is responsible for delivering quality instruction in various formats, including on-ground, online, and hybrid courses. This role emphasizes creating an equitable learning environment and ensuring consistent student experiences across different delivery modes. The instructor will utilize the College's learning management system and adhere to all institutional policies and guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Teach courses via on-ground, online, and hybrid or web-enhanced delivery modes as assigned.
  • Work with course leads and/or program coordinators to ensure consistent and equitable student experiences.
  • Utilize the College's learning management system to provide course materials to students.
  • Submit updated department syllabus prior to the first day of class.
  • Regularly check College email account and department mailbox.
  • Respond to emails/messages within 48 hours, except on weekends.
  • Complete all required reports, such as attendance, Early Alerts, student progress reports, grade submissions, and administer and return surveys and student outcome assessments by the deadlines.
  • Submit final grades for each semester by the deadline established by the Registrar.
  • Comply with all College and TBR policies and guidelines.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctorate

Nice-to-haves

  • Three years related industry experience
  • College level teaching experience

Benefits

  • Rate of Pay: $650.00 - $740.00 per credit hour
