The primary focus of this role is on teaching and evaluating students effectively, ensuring that they achieve their academic goals. The instructor will be expected to plan and teach classes as assigned, adhering to the course descriptions and syllabi provided by the department. This position requires a commitment to fostering student learning and engagement, as well as a dedication to the academic progress of each student. In addition to teaching responsibilities, the instructor will supervise the study and learning activities of students, providing guidance and support as needed. The role also involves administrative duties such as submitting requests for necessary equipment, supplies, and instructional aids through the appropriate channels, including the department head or program coordinator. Evaluating the academic progress of students is a critical component of this position, as is demonstrating a thorough understanding of the services, regulations, and procedures outlined in the Adjunct Faculty Handbook.
