About the position
The Lee Caplin School of Journalism + Media at Florida International University is seeking adjunct instructors to teach courses in digital video production, post-production, and motion graphics. This position is temporary and will remain open for the 2024-2025 academic year, with applications reviewed based on departmental needs.
Responsibilities
- Teach introductory and advanced courses in digital video production, post-production, and motion graphics.
- Develop course materials and assessments.
- Engage with students to enhance their learning experience.
- Provide feedback and support to students on their projects and assignments.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in communication, journalism, digital media, or equivalent for primary instructors.
- Professional experience in the communication field.
- Bachelor's Degree in communication, journalism, digital media, or equivalent for secondary instructors and course assistants.
Nice-to-haves
- College teaching experience.
