About the position

Centenary University is seeking an Adjunct Faculty member to teach an asynchronous online course titled "Literature of the Holocaust" for the Spring 2025 semester. Responsibilities

  • Teach a section of ENG 3080: "Literature of the Holocaust," online-asynchronous.
  • Engage with approximately 25 students from January 13 through May 4, 2025.
  • Facilitate discussions on literary and cinematic representations of the Holocaust.
  • Examine texts from various genres including survivor memoirs, fictional narratives, poetry, drama, essays, and film.
  • Consider the social, political, and philosophical contexts that shaped the literature studied.
