About the position
Wiley College has an immediate need for adjunct faculty in the following areas: Early childhood education, physical education, and music education. The primary goal of this position is to develop and teach undergraduate courses that will attract and retain students in the major and related field majors, and to participate in recruitment and the promotion of majors both in and outside of the Wiley College campus. The successful candidate must also support the mission and vision of the College; participate in College programs and student activities, and perform other duties as may be assigned by the Dean of the School or the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and teach undergraduate courses in specified areas.
- Participate in recruitment and promotion of majors.
- Support the mission and vision of the College.
- Participate in College programs and student activities.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Dean or Vice President for Academic Affairs.
Requirements
- Master's degree in the area or 18 hours in the specific area required.
- Teaching experience preferred.
