About the position

The Herbert W. Boyer School of Natural Sciences, Mathematics and Computing at Saint Vincent College is seeking part time (adjunct) faculty applications for possible future needs. Candidates may submit applications for possible future needs in day and/or evening courses in the School. Subjects include: Astronomy, Biology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Science, Geology, GIS, Introductory Biology, Cell Biology, Introductory Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Introductory Environmental Science, Earth System Science, Engineering, Engineering Graphics - including AutoCad, Mathematics, and Physics. Responsibilities

  • Teach courses in various subjects including Astronomy, Biology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Data Science, Geology, GIS, and more.
  • Conduct lectures and/or lab sections depending on the discipline.
  • Engage in active learning and creative problem solving with students.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree in the discipline or closely related field from a regionally accredited institution of higher education.
  • Experience teaching college level courses in the discipline is preferred.
