In this role, the Admin Manager will oversee various essential functions, including managing staff through hiring, performance evaluations, and scheduling. The manager will also monitor employee productivity and efficiency, sharing relevant data with the staff to foster a culture of continuous improvement. Establishing appropriate workflows and procedures to support clinic activity and volume is a key responsibility, as is developing and managing quality metrics that align with clinical activities. The Admin Manager will need to maintain a high level of knowledge regarding OHS electronic systems, which are critical for scheduling, documentation, reporting, and compliance. Collaboration with OHS leadership and providers is essential to coordinate clinic flow and patient care effectively. The Admin Manager will also serve as a resource for staff, providing guidance on policies, procedures, and best practices. This role may require the manager to step in and perform nursing or medical assistant duties as needed, ensuring that the clinic operates effectively. Responsibilities

  • Provides day-to-day clinic operations management.
  • Directly supervises the clinical team, including nursing and medical assistants.
  • Manages staff through interviews, hiring, firing, orientation, performance evaluations, and promotions.
  • Collaborates with bargained-for staff and understands local operating agreements.
  • Monitors employee productivity and efficiency, sharing data with staff.
  • Provides routine reports to the OHS leadership team.
  • Establishes workflows and procedures to support clinic activity and volume.
  • Develops, implements, and manages quality metrics that support clinical activity.
  • Maintains high-level knowledge of OHS electronic systems for scheduling, documentation, and compliance.
  • Facilitates teamwork to support a positive culture and day-to-day operations.
  • Coordinates clinic flow and patient care with OHS leadership and providers.
  • Identifies and resolves operational problems in collaboration with the clinic team.
  • Develops and interprets policies, procedures, and best practices for staff.
  • Investigates incidents and concerns from employees and patients.
  • May perform nursing or medical assistant duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Bachelor's of Science in Nursing.
  • Intermediate level: 2 years' supervisor/management experience.
  • Associate level: Less than 2 years' supervisor/management experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and change management.
  • High standard of personal and professional conduct.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with a diverse population.
