About the position

Remedi SeniorCare is currently looking for a creative, motivated, and talented Administrative Assistant to join the team. As an Administrative Assistant, you will provide a high level of confidential administrative and clerical support to the General Manager and other pharmacy leadership. This role is crucial as you will not only perform a variety of administrative duties but also play an important part in employee engagement and pharmacy culture. Your contributions will help foster a collaborative work environment and enhance the overall efficiency of the pharmacy operations. In this position, you will be responsible for anticipating the needs of the General Manager and other pharmacy leadership, ensuring that they have the necessary support to perform their roles effectively. You will conduct New Hire Orientation and onboard new employees, preparing them for their journey within the company. Additionally, you will prepare agendas, schedules, and materials for meetings, conferences, and other events, ensuring that all logistical aspects are handled smoothly. Your role will also involve maintaining employee credentialing records and planning monthly employee engagement activities, such as celebrations and recognitions. You will assist with front desk coverage and duties, ensuring that the pharmacy operates efficiently and that all visitors and employees feel welcomed and supported. Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support including anticipating needs for the General Manager and other pharmacy leadership.
  • Conduct New Hire Orientation and onboard new employees.
  • Prepare agendas, schedules, and materials for meetings, conferences, and other events.
  • Order kitchen, office, and party supplies.
  • Maintain employee credentialing records.
  • Plan monthly employee engagement activities such as celebrations and recognitions.
  • Assist with front desk coverage and duties.

Requirements

  • High School graduate or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Minimum of three (3) years working in an administrative role in a professional work environment; healthcare experience preferred.
  • Understanding of clerical procedures and systems such as recordkeeping, filing, and office equipment.
  • Valid driver's license.
