This position is under the supervision of a District Office Administrator and/or Department Director. It involves performing various specialized and complex clerical work, maintaining specific records and files pertaining to specialized activities or programs in the Department, and doing related work as required. This position is distinguished by the assignment of duties requiring a high degree of independent judgment and responsibility along with detailed working knowledge of the subject matter and functions of the office and the district. Incumbents are expected to apply knowledge of applicable policies, rules, and regulations in answering questions and independently completing a variety of difficult clerical tasks. The position is bond funded, and the length of the assignment is dependent on funding availability. Recruitment may continue until the position is filled.
