About the position

The Administrative Support (On Call) position at Orange County Government is designed to assist the Facility Operations team at the Convention Center. This role involves performing various administrative tasks to support conventions and trade shows, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to customer service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Perform administrative tasks in support of conventions and trade shows.
  • Assist with billing, filing, photocopying, and dispatching technicians to work assignments.
  • Provide telephone and radio coverage using multi-line telephones and two-way radios.
  • Input orders as needed and assist other staff as required.
  • Meet Center of Hospitality (COH) standards.
  • Perform other related duties and projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months of general clerical/office experience or one year in a customer service role.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Knowledge of IBM Maximo product.
