About The Position

The Administrative Support position in the Treasurer's Office of Pennington County provides essential clerical, administrative, and customer service support to staff and the public. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • One to three years of related work experience in an office environment
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs and PDF Software
  • Acceptable levels of 10-key and alpha/numeric entry
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

Responsibilities

  • Open and distribute mail for staff processing
  • Log title work into the office program for tracking purposes
  • Balance daily motor vehicle receipts and payments for close of day
  • Assist accounting by maintaining various databases, records, and files as needed and with cash count down and all closing duties
  • Scan documents for critical and sensitive information while maintaining confidentiality
  • Represent the office through memos, letters, and emails in a professional and accurate manner
  • Process motor vehicle basic transactions and current real estate tax payments received via mail, drop off, or on the phone
  • Perform heavy filing (alpha and numeric) and quality control of held documents awaiting processing
  • Maintain distribution of resource supplies needed by all title processors throughout the office
  • Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor
  • Maintain compliance with all County policies and procedures
