About the position

The Administrative Aide/Administrative Assistant position for the 2024-2025 school year is designed to provide essential support to the front office of a school. This role is critical in ensuring that administrative functions run smoothly and efficiently, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the school environment. The Administrative Aide will be responsible for a variety of tasks that include managing communications, assisting with scheduling, and providing support to school staff and students. This position requires a high level of organization, attention to detail, and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment. As part of the application process, candidates will need to upload their current resume and complete general employment information questions, which may take between 10 to 20 minutes. Successful candidates will advance to a recommended pool from which school principals will consult to fill school-based openings. This role is considered safety-sensitive, meaning that it involves responsibilities that are critical to the safety and well-being of students and staff. Therefore, all candidates must be prepared to undergo mandatory pre-employment drug testing in accordance with the Child and Youth, Safety and Health Omnibus Act of 2004. If selected for the position, candidates will be required to submit to testing for illegal drug use prior to employment, and ongoing employment will be contingent upon negative test results. Additionally, employees in this role will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing throughout their employment.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • High School Diploma is required; an associate's degree may be required for some positions.
  • Three or more years of related work experience is highly preferred.
