There are six Full Time Temporary Positions within the Police Department - Strategic Information Bureau. The positions will be responsible for researching final dispositions in the Arizona Criminal History data base. They will determine the final disposition utilizing various law enforcement systems. Administrative Aides will be responsible for updating final dispositions directly into the state disposition reporting system. The positions are responsible for keeping detailed and accurate records, conducting quality assurance checks, reviewing documents and data for completeness and accuracy, keeping daily tracking logs and monthly and quarterly reports for all work completed and meeting daily/ weekly/monthly completion goals. The position will utilize Share point, Microsoft Word and Microsoft excel. Other duties may include filing, faxing, emailing and phone work. These positions report to an Administrative Assistant I. The Administrative Aide position within the Strategic Information Bureau will be located at Police Headquarters, 620 W Washington Street. The work hours will be primarily day shift with weekends and holidays off. The temporary position is intended for the duration of the ADRS- Automated Disposition Reporting System project. This position will be funded through September 30, 2026, with a possibility to be made regular in a future budget cycle. The temporary position will have benefits but will not earn city retirement credits or participate financially into the City's retirement program. If the successful candidate is a current City employee, all benefits will still be applicable, and the employee will still contribute to their pension. Temporary positions are not covered under civil service rules, and thus employment is considered at-will and employees may be separated at any time.
