This full-time contractual position requires in-office work five days a week and is located at the Maryland Department of Human Services, Constituent Services, in Baltimore, MD. The primary responsibility of this role is to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Office of the Secretary for the Maryland Department of Human Services. This includes high-level coordination of correspondence, managing visitor interactions, handling email communications, and addressing constituent concerns between the Office of the Secretary, Constituent Services, and the public. Key duties include managing telephone coverage for the Office of the Secretary's main line, collaborating with staff to provide logistical support, and developing proposals to maintain high productivity levels. The role also involves logging and maintaining customer escalations in the Customer Relation Management System (CRM) and managing the receptionist area and conference rooms. Additionally, the position requires the development and management of Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), location and contact documents, sign-out logs, office supplies, and helpdesk tickets for the Office of the Secretary and Constituent Services Office.
