About the position

Two Way Solutions Inc. is seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant specializing in Accounts Receivable to join our team in Sioux Falls, SD. With over 70 years in the communications industry, we pride ourselves on our growth and commitment to providing exceptional service as a two-way radio dealer. This full-time position operates Monday through Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM, with an hour for lunch, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule with no weekend commitments. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, handling incoming phone calls and initiating work orders. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient receiving and distribution of internal mail, performing various administrative tasks as needed by the department, and pulling parts orders for both walk-in and phone customers. You will also be responsible for daily bank deposits, billing invoices, making collection calls on past due accounts, and other miscellaneous accounting duties. Additionally, you will maintain customer accounts and manage our rental program, all while demonstrating excellent written and communication skills. The ideal candidate will possess the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have experience with Peachtree/Sage 50, although this is not a strict requirement. A willingness to learn custom software and the parts associated with two-way radios is essential. This position requires reliable transportation and a willingness to undergo a drug screening as part of the hiring process.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Must have experience in an office setting
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must be willing to drug screen
  • Customer service experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Accounting experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Accounts receivable experience: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Ability to commute to Sioux Falls, SD 57103 (Required)
  • Ability to relocate to Sioux Falls, SD 57103 before starting work (Required)

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Peachtree/Sage 50 (helpful but not required)
  • Ability to learn custom software
  • Knowledge of parts associated with two way radios
