About the position

The Administrative Assistant will support daily operations and ensure efficient office management for a local agricultural company in Milan, OH. This role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, making it essential for maintaining smooth office operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine duties including filing, data entry, copying, etc.
  • Manage and maintain physical and digital office records.
  • Handle incoming/outgoing mail.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, greet visitors/customers, and maintain a clean reception area.
  • Assist with scheduling appointments.
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas.
  • Draft and proofread correspondences, reports, and other documents.
  • Create and format presentations.

Requirements

  • Minimum two years office administration experience required.
  • Familiarity with Ohio agriculture and a basic understanding of agribusiness.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
