About the position

The Administrative & Social Media Coordinator at VanGordon Tree & Land Solutions is a full-time role focused on managing inbound communications, scheduling client estimates, and leading social media campaigns to promote the company's services. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational and communication skills, balancing administrative tasks with social media management to enhance the company's online presence and client engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Answer and direct all inbound phone calls professionally and timely, addressing client inquiries and scheduling estimates.
  • Manage the scheduling of client estimates, ensuring availability and coordinating with clients while maintaining a detailed calendar.
  • Develop and implement social media strategies to promote services and engage with the local community across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
  • Create, curate, and manage content for social media, monitoring engagement metrics and adjusting strategies accordingly.
  • Perform clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation, assisting with invoicing and basic bookkeeping as needed.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in an administrative, customer service, or marketing role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and best practices for business accounts.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively.
  • Proficient in using scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Jobber or similar field service management software.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems to track leads and customer interactions.
  • Proficiency in managing Google Ads campaigns, including keyword research and ad creation.
  • Knowledge of Google Workspace tools for collaboration and organization.
  • Experience with social media analytics tools and marketing platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
