About the position

Access Behavioral Health Services is searching for an energetic, self-motivated team player to join our team as an Administrative Assistant in Boise, ID. This position is crucial in providing administrative support for community-based programs and assisting with general office duties. The ideal candidate will be responsible for daily interactions with clients to ensure patient satisfaction, promote client engagement, and assess any barriers to care. This role requires effective communication with clients, visitors, community staff, and office staff, ensuring a professional and welcoming environment. In this position, you will manage medical records and patient information, ensuring all records are complete and accurately maintained in client charts. You will also be responsible for answering a multi-line phone system, routing calls effectively, and performing reminder calls. Scheduling appointments for current clients and new referrals, compliance tracking, and navigating multiple insurances are also key responsibilities. The Administrative Assistant will work closely with management to ensure the efficient and timely flow of overall operations and the promotion of the site. Other duties may be assigned as needed, making this a dynamic and engaging role within the organization.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organized
  • Self-motivated, problem solver
  • Ability to operate computer and programs including Excel, Word, Google Docs
  • Ability to engage with participants and staff in an effective and professional manner
  • Ability to be patient and empathetic with our client demographic
  • Experience in Mental Health is preferred but not a requirement
  • High School Diploma

Nice-to-haves

  • Docusign experience is a plus but not a requirement
