About the position

We are seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our team, responsible for performing clerical and administrative functions to support the current team and drive company success. The role involves maintaining employee information, processing garnishment orders, and organizing filing systems, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Process garnishment orders and send out weekly checks.
  • Fill out forms for EDD questionnaires and responses.
  • Enter and maintain employee information in QuickBooks.
  • Organize and maintain filing systems.
  • Scan files into online storage systems.
  • Provide overall backup and perform other tasks as needed.

Requirements

  • 2 years previous experience in office administration.
  • Bookkeeping or accounting experience preferable.
  • Proficient with QuickBooks Desktop, Excel, and document handling.
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate proficiency with QuickBooks and Excel.
  • Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and have a valid ID.
  • Must be willing to interact with the public.
  • Provide references for related experience.
  • Will be required to sign a confidentiality agreement.
  • Must have reliable transportation and live within a reasonable distance.
