About the position

The Administrative Assistant for Claims Setup at ClaimsPro LP's International Programs Group plays a crucial role in managing the initial stages of claims processing. This position serves as the first point of contact for new and existing claims, ensuring that all necessary documentation is complete and accurate for the claims adjusters to proceed effectively. The role requires strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review claim documents and identify any missing vital information.
  • Determine the organization of the claim as either a London Claim or a Domestic Claim.
  • Ensure that the Adjuster has sufficient information to begin processing the claim.
  • Request additional information as needed to properly set up the claim.
  • Verify the entry of accurate and valid data.
  • Ensure claims are handled promptly based on the order received.
  • Conduct daily follow-ups to secure necessary information for the Adjuster.
  • Provide backup for all administrative duties when needed.
  • Perform other related responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor or management.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Some college education preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Good typing and spelling skills preferred.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage a high volume of concurrent tasks.
  • Collaborative work ethic with others inside and outside the company.
