About the position

CST Group, a reputable CPA firm in Reston, Virginia, is looking for an experienced Administrative Assistant to support various administrative tasks related to tax return assembly, e-filing, and document management. Responsibilities

  • Assist with administrative tasks related to tax return assembly, e-filing, and document management.
  • Support the preparation and processing of tax extensions, scanning, and organizing client documentation.
  • Handle various administrative duties as needed, with an emphasis on efficiency and accuracy.
  • Communicate effectively with staff and clients, both verbally and in writing, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook) to manage data, correspondence, and scheduling.
  • Be willing to cross-train in other CPA firm administrative functions to support the team as needed.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a professional environment, preferably in a CPA firm.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact confidently with staff and clients.

Nice-to-haves

  • Familiarity with CCH ProSystems Axcess and Document Management, tax return assembly, e-filing, and processing extensions is a plus, but not required.
