Administrative assistants are trusted collaborators and thought partners to regional directors, providing strategic calendaring, communication, recognition and administrative duties in support of market priorities to elevate the Starbucks Experience for partners and customers. As an administrative assistant, you will build relationships and provide professional expertise that supports strategic market growth and delivers the Starbucks Experience. You will engage in intentional strategy planning with the regional director, partner resource managers, Talent Acquisition, and other cross-functional teams. Additionally, you will support the onboarding process for District Managers (DMs) to ensure they feel welcome and have the necessary resources to be effective in their roles. This position requires a proactive approach to communication and collaboration, ensuring that all administrative tasks are handled efficiently and effectively, contributing to the overall success of the team and the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic calendaring and administrative support to regional directors.
  • Facilitate communication and recognition efforts within the team.
  • Support onboarding processes for new District Managers to ensure a smooth transition.
  • Engage in strategic planning with cross-functional teams to align on market priorities.
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to work independently and deliver excellent customer service.
  • Advanced knowledge of office procedures and general office equipment.
  • Ability to build relationships and make recommendations on changes in approach and solutions.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to set priorities and manage multiple projects.
