About the position

The Administrative Assistant supports the Director of Marketing by performing a variety of administrative and office duties. This role is essential for maintaining organization within the department, managing schedules, and ensuring effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Performs clerical duties such as typing, note taking, and managing daily mail to maintain order and accuracy in the office.
  • Schedules and coordinates appointments and makes arrangements for meetings, conferences, and travel.
  • Prepares routine letters, memorandums, agendas, presentations, and forms; maintains the Director's email and voicemail correspondence.
  • Screens telephone calls and resolves or refers them appropriately; assists with light accounting and budget review.

Requirements

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Experience in clerical duties and administrative support.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access) and Lotus Notes.
