Responsibilities

  • Operate word processor, personal computer, or CRT to perform word processing, graphics, and publishing applications.
  • Enter and manipulate data on spreadsheet, database, or file management programs.
  • Set priorities and procedures for accomplishing work, potentially delegating tasks to others.
  • Collect data, conduct research, and compile information for reports and projects.
  • Compose, analyze, and distribute documents, proofreading for errors.
  • Conduct meetings or presentations and address specific problems to ensure objectives are met.
  • Communicate potentially negative situations to management constructively.
  • Read and prioritize mail, attaching relevant files before distribution.
  • Respond to routine correspondence or draft responses for review and signature.
  • Interface effectively with team members, functional departments, and customers.
  • Screen calls, respond to routine questions, and receive or escort visitors.
  • Schedule appointments and make domestic and international travel arrangements.
  • Coordinate with executive-level staff for in-house and off-site meetings, including travel and accommodation arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date files and record systems, ensuring confidentiality.

Requirements

  • Three years of related office experience or demonstrated ability to perform described responsibilities.
  • Education certificate in applicable functional area preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of office equipment, administrative procedures, and terminology in the functional area.
  • Ability to accurately record meeting proceedings.
  • Ability to type 55 wpm accurately.
  • Personal computer skills may be required.
  • Effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with others and be a participative team player.

Benefits

  • Competitive hourly pay of $28 - $34.
  • Full-time contract position with a duration of 6 months or more.
