About the position

The Administrative Assistant - Executive position at the Utah Attorney General's Office involves providing essential administrative support to the Executive Assistant to the Attorney General, Chief of Staff, and other executive team members. The role includes public-facing duties, managing inquiries, and coordinating various projects and activities while ensuring compliance with agency policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Execute public-facing reception duties and general agency workload.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Assistant to the Attorney General and Chief of Staff.
  • Screen access to the Executive Team.
  • Provide information and respond to inquiries or complaints from the public and other customers.
  • Coordinate and schedule projects and/or activities.
  • Analyze, review, interpret, and summarize data.
  • Create and edit written materials.
  • Act as a liaison between the agency and other organizations.
  • Coordinate/schedule meetings and travel, and maintain calendars.
  • Receive, handle, sort, and collate legal documents for distribution within the office.
  • Prepare legal documents as required to support executive-level members.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of agency policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize data effectively.
