About the position

The Administrative Assistant for the Foster Care team at Brightpoint plays a vital role in supporting the agency's mission to enhance the well-being of children and families. This position involves providing essential administrative support, tracking data, preparing reports, and managing office needs to ensure a focus on child safety and family support. The role also includes collaboration with other client-serving programs within the Belleville office.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Foster Care team.
  • Track data and prepare reports as needed.
  • Assist with managing office needs, including answering phones.
  • Provide administrative support to other client-serving programs in the Belleville office.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • At least three years of related experience required.
  • Experience using Microsoft products for documentation preparation, data collection, and reporting preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a human services or non-profit environment.
  • Familiarity with child welfare services.
