The Administrative Assistant role at BROWNSVILLE DME involves providing essential support to ensure the efficient operation of the office. Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements
  • Assist with project coordination, including tracking progress and deadlines
  • Proofread documents for grammar, spelling, and punctuation errors
  • Manage office filing systems and maintain organized records
  • Answer phone calls and direct inquiries to the appropriate person or department
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Utilize computer software programs for various administrative tasks
  • Process order entries and ensure accuracy of information

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2 years of office management experience (preferred)
  • Driver's License (preferred)
  • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
  • Excellent proofreading skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in event planning and coordination is a plus
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
