About the position

The Administrative Assistant at RNDC Hawaii will provide essential administrative support to managers, ensuring efficient use of time and resources. This role involves a variety of secretarial, clerical, and administrative duties, contributing to the smooth operation of the General Administration team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide secretarial, clerical, and administrative support to managers.
  • Answer telephone and e-mail communications, take dictation, and compose routine correspondence.
  • Assist in planning meetings, company dinners, and other company-related functions.
  • Prepare reports and perform special projects as assigned.
  • File and maintain correspondence and other information.

Requirements

  • One year certificate from college or technical school; three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to work overtime.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or aptitude to learn.
  • Ability to operate all office equipment.

Nice-to-haves

  • Bachelor's degree
